GetSale connects to Shopify Sidekick so you can ask questions about your discounts and sales performance from anywhere in Shopify admin. The integration is read-only: Sidekick can report GetSale data, but it cannot create, edit, start, or end discounts.
What you can ask about
Campaign analytics can include:
Discounts created, activated, and deactivated
Current active, inactive, and scheduled discounts
Percentage, fixed-amount, and override-price discount types
Whole-store, collection, product, tag, and vendor targeting
Timer and banner usage
Sales analytics can include:
Orders containing GetSale-discounted products
Revenue and units attributed to GetSale
Order and revenue share
Your five top-performing discounts
Daily sales and revenue trends
Ask Sidekick a GetSale question
From Shopify admin, open Sidekick or click the Sidekick icon.
Ask your question in plain language and mention GetSale.
Optional: specify the last 7, 30, or 90 days. If you omit a period, GetSale uses 30 days.
Send the question. Sidekick reports the dates used and can link you to GetSale's full Analytics page for more detail.
For general help opening and using Sidekick, see Shopify's Sidekick guide.
Example questions
How many GetSale discounts did I create in the last 30 days?
How many GetSale discounts are active or scheduled?
Which targeting methods do my GetSale campaigns use?
How much revenue did GetSale discounts generate in the last 30 days?
What are my top-performing GetSale discounts over the last 90 days?
Show my daily GetSale revenue trend for the last 7 days.
Availability and permissions
Campaign activity and configuration data does not need an orders permission.
Sales analytics follows the same access rules as GetSale's Analytics page. Your plan must include Advanced Analytics, and GetSale must have the read_orders permission.
Sales figures use your store currency when it is available.
Sidekick supports 7-, 30-, and 90-day GetSale reporting windows.
Troubleshooting
Sidekick says sales analytics is unavailable
Open GetSale > Analytics. If prompted, grant the orders permission. If Advanced Analytics is not included in your current plan, the sales-only results remain unavailable; campaign analytics still works.
Sidekick reports no tracked data
Try a longer reporting window, such as 90 days. Order tracking starts after the orders permission is granted, so earlier orders are not backfilled.
Sidekick does not use GetSale for the answer
Mention GetSale explicitly in your question, for example: “Using GetSale, show my top discounts for the last 30 days.” Confirm that GetSale is installed on the store.
